Day 1: Welcome to Yogyakarta
Upon your arrival at Yogyakarta Airport, you will be welcomed and greeted by our Javanese driver. A private transfer will take you to Kretek Village in Magelang. You will stay 3 nights at the hotel that has a combination of colonial and Javanese Style. It lies in the rural area closed to Borobudur and surrounded by rice paddies.
Today you will enjoy the Javanese massage after a long journey.

Day 2: The Centre of Yogyakarta and Prambanan Temple
This morning at 08.00 you are going to visit Malioboro and Beringharjo Market. Here you can taste Javanese street food and many various exotic tropical fruits with your guide.
Continue your journey towards Kraton Yogyakarta, this is a palace complex lies in the heart of Yogyakarta city which is home to the Sultan and his family. After that, by "becak" the Javanese pedicab, go towards Taman Sari Water Castle which is known as the royal garden of the Sultanate of Yogyakarta, this site built in the mid-18th century and has a combination of colonial and Javanese architecture design.
This afternoon, continue your journey to discover the biggest Hindu Temple in Southeast Asia, Prambanan. Today this wonderful temple become one the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. Here, our guide will tell you the secret behind the temple that built to worships the Trimurti of Brahma the Creator, Vishnu the Preserver and Shiva the Destroyer.

Day 3: Borobudur and VW Trip Around Borobudur Area
This morning you will start early. At 04.30 you are going to discover Borobudur Temple and its hundreds of Buddhist statues. This is the largest Buddhist temple in the world. Built-in the 8th century on the top of hill that surrounded by valleys and volcanoes, Borobudur is perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of sunrise or sunset.
After having breakfast, this morning you are going to explore some villages near Borobudur by antique VW Car. Cross the Javanese neighbourhood and rice paddies with Monoreh Mountain as a backdrop. Today you also visit Gereja Ayam or literally means Chicken Church that lies in the middle of nature. Climb onto the platform inside the chicken’s gleaming white crown and enjoy the landscape around.
At the end of the trip, you can choose another activity between learning how to make batik which is Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to cloth, learning to play gamelan which is the Javanese instrument or learning how to make terracotta pottery with local.

Day 4: DayTrain to Probolinggo East Java
This morning you will take a train going to Probolinggo. Arrival at Probolinggo Station, you will be welcomed and greeted by our Javanese driver. A private transfer will take you to Ngadisari Village. Your hotel here lies in a quiet area surrounded by nature and foggy mountains.

Day 5: Explore Bromo Volcano and Madakaripura, go towards Kalibaru
Today you will wake up early at 02:30 am and our car driver will take you to the last point of Cemoro Lawang Village. After 30 minutes drive, you will move into 4x4 and continue the journey towards Mount Penanjakan. At an altitude of 2.700 meters, you will enjoy the beautiful sunrise and see the breathtaking landscape of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
After the sun rises, cross the Sea of Sand that is known as the biggest volcanic ashes caldera on earth. Our 4x4 will stop in front of Luhur Poten Temple and you will ready to hiking up Mount Bromo to see the active crater closer.
This morning after having breakfast, you are going to refresh your body at Madakaripura Waterfall. After 45 minutes drive, our driver will drop you at the car parking area and you will continue your journey with a motorbike taxi. Here, a local guide will accompany you to make sure you are safe.
Continue your drive east towards Kalibaru. This journey takes 5 hours with a lunch break. You will stay for 1 night in a cottage around the plantation. Your deluxe room equipped with an air conditioner. It has an open roof bathroom with a hot shower and all the basic amenities.

Day 6: Kalibaru Plantation
After having breakfast, you will be ready to explore Kalibaru Plantation. Here, you can find cocoa, coffee, cloves, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and pepper plantation. You can also visit and see closely the process of raw rubber inside the old factory. As a rural area, traveller can learn how to climb a coconut tree and harvest some coconuts or learn how to make some traditional local ornaments from coconut leaves.
Continue your drive east towards Banyuwangi, it takes 3 hours with a lunch break. Tonight, you will stay for 1 night in the Javanese style guesthouse that surrounded by nature at Licin Village.

Day 7: Witness the Beauty of Kawah Ijen
Today is your last day in Java and you will wake up early at 02:00 am. Continue your journey to Paltuding as the start point to explore Kawah Ijen. Upon your arrival at Paltuding, you will be greeted by our Javanese local guide. He will make sure you arrive at Ijen's rim of crater safely. 3 kilometres hike is needed to reach the rim of crater and a half kilometre more to see the magnificent Blue Fire and sulfur mines activities closer. After the sun rises, back to the rim of crater and see the landscape of the largest acidic lake on earth.
After many various adventures, back to your guesthouse for breakfast and continue your journey to the port of Ketapang. This morning, you will ready to leave the land of fire Java with a lot of beautiful memories.
